This school was started on 01 november 1959 by the initiative of education enthusiasts and  well-wishers of the area, through the minutes of the managing committee  meeting, under the name of amnura model primary school. Later on 25th December 1959, The decision to open a high school was taken by managing committee meeting Chairman by the late Kasimuddin Mia. And after the name of Kasimuddin Mia, the school was named Amnura K.M High School. At present the school is known as Amnura Kasimuddin Mia High School."Amnura Kasimuddin Mia High School is located at Setu Para in Ward No. 03 of Jhilim Union, No. 3, under Sadar Upazila of Chapainawabganj District."
